Our Work
United Way of Pioneer Valley mobilizes people and resources to strengthen our communities.The United Way of Pioneer Valley, in partnership with community stakeholders, supports effective, results-oriented, and sustainable change focused on improving the quality of life in the region. Through our network of partners, the UWPV assists children, youth, and families to receive services to assist with emergency needs. At the same time, the UWPV invests in longer-term solutions to:
1. Ensure all children and youth are nurtured and have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed and transition into adulthood and
2. Assist adults and families with increasing their financial security and economic independence.
UWPV, in creating opportunities for a better life for people in the Pioneer Valley, is developing strategies in three primary areas: Children and Youth, Families, and Basic Needs.
