Supporting this year’s campaign theme of “Unite Today. Live Stronger Tomorrow,” the above video demonstrates how the United Way makes a community impact in several areas.
Four people are featured in the 5 ˝ minute video: Mark Hebert, president of Machinists Union Local 743; Alan J. Ingram, superintendent of Springfield Public Schools; Portia Allen, a community volunteer; and Christine Daniels, a division assistant with the UWPV.
Each describes how the United Way makes a difference by connecting resources to community needs and measures and tracks the outcomes of charitable donations.
