Community Impact Grants
Purpose
United Way of Pioneer Valley is seeking proposals for its Community Impact Grant program. These grants will support programs and services consistent with United Way of Pioneer Valley’s 2010 Board-approved Community Impact Blueprint that outlined the prioritized areas of focus. Grants will be awarded for a period of three years from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2016
The purpose of the Community Impact Grant program is to support and sustain strong communities in Hampden County, South Hadley and Granby, Massachusetts. This program has two areas of focus:
1. Education
Goal: Young people graduate from high school with a 21st century education ready for success in college, work and life.
2. Health
Goal: Reduce teen birth rates and increase the ability of youth to make healthy life choices to enable them to graduate from high school ready for success in college, work and life

KEY DATES
- Request for Proposal released: January 25
- Information session for applicants: February 1 and February 13 (details below)
- Online Letter of Intent to apply due: February 22 by 4:00 p.m.
- Notify Agencies selected to submit an Application: by March 8 (postponed from original date)
- Online Applications for funding due: March 22 by 4:00 p.m.
- Notification of funding decisions: May 31
- Signed Memorandum of Understanding due: June 15
- Funding released (quarterly): July 12
