Our Mission

OnBoard in a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization whose mission it is to help organizations expand their governance capacity by enlisting women, people of color and other under-represented populations to their boards of directors/trustees.

Founded in the mid-90s by Attorney Ellen Freyman, OnBoard has operated primarily through the informal networks of its board members to match people and organizations.
