Food pantries

Some area food pantries have closed due to the outbreak and volunteer shortage. The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has organized a list of food pantries that remain open during this evolving situation, and information on SNAP for those who need further food assistance.

Prescription drug savings through Familywize

Now more than ever, it's important for members of our community to continue taking their prescribed medications. FamilyWize, a partner of United Way Worldwide, offers a free prescription drug savings card. When getting a prescription filled or refilled, you can ask your pharmacist to apply the FamilyWize discount and present them with a printed card or by using the FamilyWize app.

A new law in Massachusetts banned evictions during the pandemic. Mass Legal Help offers an online resource for the legal protections of low-income tenants.
