United Way Of Pioneer Valley Teams Up With Peter Pan For Annual Stuff The Bus Kick-Off

Springfield, MA; United Way of Pioneer Valley will be kicking off the annual event with Peter Pan Bus Lines to fill 2,200 backpacks with school supplies to help students who are homeless in our region. The Kick-Off event will be held in front of Springfield City Hall at 10:30 AM on Friday July 12th, with a Peter Pan Bus also on site.

“Each child should be given the chance to start school on time with all the tools they need to be successful just like everyone else, despite their circumstances. The amazing generosity of our local community is always apparent when we put out the call to help,” said Paul Mina, President and CEO of United Way of Pioneer Valley.

United Way is grateful to be working with Peter Pan Bus Lines, Mayor Domenic Sarno, Western Mass News, Six Flags New England, Holyoke Mall, Grodsky, Macy’s Holyoke, Amica, Comcast, QFS, Merriam-Webster, and Westover Job Corps as sponsors, and always welcome additional businesses to help support this campaign as it begins.

Attendees are invited to bring a donation item to kick off this year’s Stuff the Bus drive at this event.
