(8/20/2025) — Following weeks of sorting donated school supplies and working with tireless volunteers to pack hundreds of colorful backpacks, delivery day is here; August 21st. We will be stuffing the bus at 8:30am at our Springfield United Way office, located at the corner of Harrison Ave and Main St; departing at 9:00am to deliver to 15 school districts.
UWPV is enormously grateful to AAA Northeast, Balise Auto, East Coast Tile, Peter Pan Bus Lines and Western Mass News for hosting collection sites; and to Balise Auto, Eversource, MGM Springfield, Monson Savings Bank, Health New England and our Community Volunteers for their kind help with this initiative.
