United Way of Pioneer Valley Responds to Flooding; Services Continue

(4/6/2026)— The United Way of Pioneer Valley offices are temporarily out of commission following flooding over the weekend caused by a water pipe. The office is currently uninhabitable, and our team is working quickly to assess the damage and restore full operations as soon as possible.

  • The food pantry will not be open for in-person visits this week, but food deliveries are continuing and families can pick up at a location outside the building. No one who depends on the pantry will go without. Our Springfield location will be available for pickups at the front door the usual 1:30pm - 5:30pm timeframe tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7th. 1441 Main St. Suite 137, Springfield, MA 01103.
  • Our Leaders Lounge coffee hour will take place as scheduled, relocated to the lobby of the TD Bank Building, 1441 Main St. in Springfield, MA from 8:30am – 10:00am.

To help clean up the pantry and restore it to full capacity quickly, we are asking for community support. We are grateful for the generosity of local businesses that have already stepped up to support our work. Their commitment to this community exemplifies the United Way's mission. We welcome additional support.
