Stuff the Bus

United Way Stuff the Bus Keeps Students on Track for Success

Stuff the Bus is a School Supply Drive to benefit children who are homeless in Chicopee, Holyoke, Springfield, Westfield, West Springfield and South Hadley. Every year, the United Way of Pioneer Valley receives thousands of donations from people in the community—all of which go to impact the lives of students who are homeless in the Pioneer Valley.

The United Way of Pioneer Valley teams up with Peter Pan Bus Lines, Six Flags New England, and Western Mass News to deliver over 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to these six school districts.

Individuals are encouraged to donate the following age-appropriate supplies: No. 2 pencils, erasers, binders, paper, crayons, highlighters, pencil boxes, pens, glue sticks, rulers, two-pocket folders, 3 ring binders, and one-subject notebooks at designated drop off locations.
