United Way, PeoplesBank, Belt Technologies Announce Matching Gift for GivingTuesday Donations

Springfield, MA (11/25/2020)—United Way of Pioneer Valley (UWPV) is excited to announce that on this GivingTuesday, December 1, 2020, our gifts will be matched up to a total of $10,000 by PeoplesBank and Belt Technologies. Both companies are providing $5,000 in matching donations. GivingTuesday is a global movement that takes place every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and encourages the community to give back to nonprofits right after shopping for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

“We are so thankful for PeoplesBank and Belt Technologies’ decision to step up during an extremely challenging year for our community throughout Hampden County, Granby, and South Hadley. These matching funds will be put to good use – helping us provide food, warm clothes, utility assistance, our free Mass2-1-1/ Call2Talk hotlines and financial coaching -- all things our service area needs now more than ever”, said Paul Mina, President & CEO, United Way of Pioneer Valley.
