UWPV Community Workshop

Let’s Make Volunteerism a New Family Tradition

Join United Way of Pioneer Valley for our very first Community Workshop — a hands-on volunteer event designed for families to give back together.

At this heartwarming community gathering, families will roll up their sleeves to pack and build care kits that will be distributed to local nonprofits supporting our neighbors in need. From assembling bikes to packing kits, every project you complete will touch a local life.

You’ll also be invited to visit our Giving Tree, where you can select a gift tag to help brighten the holidays for a local child in need — a simple act that can spark a lifelong tradition of generosity. If you’d like to bring an item directly to the event instead of taking a tag, we will be accepting new with tags pajamas, coats or fuzzy socks (unwrapped please!) as these items are the most sought after in the community this holiday season.

This event is free to attend, with a suggested donation of $20 per family to help us continue supporting the programs that strengthen our community all year long.

Because when families come together to volunteer, Community Starts Here.
